Grow a permission based email list
We often get asked: "How do I start growing a permission - based email list?”. There are various ways of growing your own permission based email list.
Ways to grow your opt-in list:
- Place your email newsletter sign-up form on your home page of your website
- Link to your sign-up form from every page on your website
- Place a link to your email sign-up form in your email signature (ask everyone in your company to do it too)
- Add the link to your sign-up form on all documentation your company sends to potential & existing clients
- Add a newsletter sign-up tick box on any hard copy forms or competitions
- Ask people to sign-up via telephone conversations.
- Set up a computer at work functions, promotions, events and ask people to sign-up to the newsletter via the website
- Send out personal, one-to-one emails to all your clients, and invite them to sign-up to your newsletter
- In your "Contact Us" form on your website, add a checkbox to "sign-up for our newsletter"
